I was first elected as a school trustee in 2018, and it has been my greatest honour to serve our community for these past four years, helping to navigate the health, safety and well-being of students, staff and their families in an unprecedented time.

I love what I do, believe that the role of trustee is an incredibly important one, and I am pleased to announce that I am running again to ensure that we continue to build a brighter future for our children and grandchildren!

I am a 50+ resident of WV and a recipient of the Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence. I hold a Masters in Education Administration from UBC, and taught for 30+ years as an elementary and secondary educator. I have also served as a plenary speaker at the B.C. Confederation of PACs Annual Leadership Conference, and facilitated professional development and training at the post-secondary level all over BC.

I graduated from WV Secondary, my two children graduated from WV schools, and now a grandchild is enrolled here, too. I am passionate about education, the future of our school district and supporting our parents, our staff and our children. And on October 15th I hope I can count on your vote!
